Jesse Lingard wants Man United to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo

Jesse Lingard of Manchester United says he would love the team to sign Ronaldo back
Lingard added that Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the best players in the world
Ronaldo played for Man United between 2003 and 2009 before he joined Real Madrid
Manchester United star Jesse Lingard has made it clear that he would love the club's chiefs to bring Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford this summer.
The Red Devils are currently fighting to finish among the top four teams this season in the Premier League after being dumped out of the Champions League by Barcelona.
And while arriving at Manchester United's training ground on Thursday morning, May 2, Lingard explained that he wants Ronaldo to return to turn around the club's fortunes.
Ronaldo, who is currently plying his trade with Juventus played for Manchester United between 2003 and 2009 before he joined Spanish side Real Madrid.
''I would love Man United to sign Cristiano Ronaldo. He has been one of the best players in the world over the last decade. He has been here before so he would slot right back in.
''Growing up he was just unbelievable to watch in a United shirt, so on a personal note it would be amazing to play with him,'' Lingard told Mirror UK.
Lingard is expected to be handed a starting role in Manchester United's squad for their clash against Huddersfield this weekend in the Premier League.
