FUMING MANCHESTER UNITED FANS TEAR INTO TEAM AFTER DISMAL START V BOURNEMOUTH
Manchester United fans are not happy after a poor opening to their game against Bournemouth. In a shambolic start, United saw their defence torn to shreds by an exciting and vibrant Bournemouth side who are playing some excellent football at this moment in time.
The attacking players, without Romelu Lukaku, failed to link up with Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial failing to got hold of the ball and show their attacking flair. However, for the United fans, it was Jose Mourinho and the weak back line who took the brunt of the abuse on social media.
The opening Bournemouth goal came from a corner as Junior Stanislas was left in acres of space on the right-hand side. He squared the ball to Callum Wilson who finished with aplomb and has now scored more goals that Harry Kane and Mo Salah this season.
John Gorman on Twitter said: “Smalling again. Biggest liability we have. We seriously need to get him out of the team. Bang average at best.”
Ryan on Twitter: “We have an unparalleled ability to make whoever we play look like world beaters at times”
Torill said: “That face from Mourinho, is exactly what United doesn’t need! Bad coaching!!”
Samuel Luckhurst said: “This opening 20 minutes has maybe been worse than Newcastle., in terms of the performance. The cowardice is contagious.”
