Tahith Chong offers Jose Mourinho a solution to key Manchester United problem
It was alarming, watching Manchester United's win against Everton at Old Trafford on Sunday, to see just how much of the Reds' attacking play goes down the left-hand side. Anthony Martial might be enjoying something close to the form of his life at present but it is tempting to contemplate quite how United would fare if there were a greater balance between the flanks of Jose Mourinho's forward line. The United manager seems to have tried every option at his disposal in a bid to find a veritable right-wing solution this season, but to little success. Marcus Rashford has looked uncomfortable on the right flank, while both Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata have been far more effective operating in a central position despite Mourinho's attempts to shoe-horn them into his problem position.
